قال تعالى: فِي بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَن تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ فِيهَا بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ
In houses (mosques), which Allah has ordered to be raised (to be cleaned, and to be honoured), in them His Name is glorified in the mornings and in the afternoons or the evenings.

Sheikh Abdul Khaleq Al-Naqeeb
An Egyptian-American citizen who holds a BA in Islamic Sharia from the Faculty
of Sharia and Law, Al-Azhar University, Cairo—Sheikh Abdul Khaleq Al-Naqeeb is an Imam, preacher, and teacher at Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque in Paterson, New Jersey, USA.
Married with four children, Sheikh Abdul Khaleq Al-Naqeeb has been Imam,
Preacher and teacher at Omar Mosque from 1993 to the present.
From 1988 to 1993, Sheikh Abdul Khaleq Al-Naqeeb worked at Al-Salam Mosque and also the Al-Azhar institutes in Cairo and Alexandria from 1981 to 1988.
The establishment of the mosque
Founders
Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque was established by Palestinian businessmen in 1991 AD, as it was initially a rented building, then the current building, which accommodates more than a thousand men praying in addition to the women’s prayer room, was purchased. Yousef Abdelfattah is one the Mosque founders, and the rest of the founders are listed below:
